“I want to look toned but I don’t want to lift weights because its going to make me look bulky.”
“What pill can I drink for weight loss.”
“How do I get rid of this”.. (points to love handles or jiggly arm fat). There’s no such thing as spot reduction ladies& gents.
“I’m not making any progress”, says the person who ate a bag of cookies in front of the telly the night before and missed the last 3 sessions.
“I need to look good for this do I have in 2 weeks.”
“I’m to old” for this OR “I can’t!” Those are swear words and will cost you burpees.
“I don’t have the time like you fitness junkies to live in the gym.”
“I don’t want to sweat because I have an appointment later.”
“This workout sucks.” We don’t want to hear your negative thoughts.
“I need to answer my phone, Im waiting on an important call.” Ok once maybe twice, but don’t keep your phone with you while training. Its your time and your personal trainers time so don’t waste it.
“I want to look like him/her” but you’re not willing to put in the training or the eating required to look like
“I trained for 3 hours every day of the week, are you proud of me?” but still eats badly. You’re wasting your own time when you don’t fuel your body correctly and over train & chances for burn out is higher.
“Please help me lose weight fast.” We don’t do crash diets, period!
“I’m not seeing result from your classes.” Have realistic expectations and don’t blame shift when you’re not getting results.
“I’m just going to do my own thing ok.” No, not ok. We offer modifications for a reason so all fitness levels can take part.
“Can I skip the warm up/cool down?” Warm up’s / Cool downs are for your own benefit. Both reduces risk of injuries and enhances performance.
“I don’t want to do arm/legs/bum exercises because I already have big arm/leg/bum.” Did you hear my eyes roll six times? LOL
“I don’t like this exercise; can we do something else.” Remember your trainer is the expert and know how to get you the best results.
“Why am I not losing weight, I do everything you tell me to do” but doesn’t tell you about the 2 glasses of Vino they’re consuming with supper every night.
“I cant pay you this month”, then proceeds to tell you about their shopping spree & their awesome pair of Jimmy choo’s they just bought.
